What kind of tests doctor will conduct to determine the pregnancy? |

usually the will do another preg test she just has to pee in a cup they can also check the sugan in her urine to make sure she doesnt get justational diabietes. She will have to do this at each visit to the doctor They will just get some medical history on the both of you they might possible do a pap exam on her. they will also probably give her a script for prenatal vitamins.

Congratulations!
My doctor didn't do any tests to confirm it, just took my word for it and told me to get an apppointment at reception to see the midwife. She did work out my due date from my LMP though. |

Congratulations! The doc will perform a urine test and probably go ahead and draw some blood to do a thorough screening of her overall health. You're gonna be a daddy soon!

They will either have her pee in a cup or have a blood test done. Then after that they will send you home, and call you later on with the results. That's what happened with me. Then after that you will go in for your first appointment, you will go over your family history, and do your blood work for the beginning also you will be given an estimated due date based on the HCG levels that your wife has.

It depends. the first time my Dr did an exam and told me my uterus was "fluffy" which meant I was pregnant. My last Dr did a urine test in his office. They also feel around the outside of your belly to feel for size and anything else they need. Depending on the circumstances they may do a quick ultrasound to check on things if they have one in the office or might have you schedule one elsewhere soon. Congrats and good luck. My newest little peanut will be 6 months tomorrow!
