The waste band on these jeans look like a regular non-maternity pair of jeans. These jeans are a great option early in pregnancy when you have just outgrown your regular jeans but don’t want to wear a traditional maternity jean.

Another option for a maternity jean without the look of a maternity jean is the back panel or semi demi panel jean. The back panel jean has the look of a traditional jean in the front with a stretchy fabric panel in the back. The semi demi panel offers the fabric panel in the front with a regular waste in the back.

A popular option in maternity jeans is the low rise or demi panel jean. These jeans have an stretchy fabric elastic waste band all the way around the waste. Low rise jeans sit low on the waste at about the navel or below the belly later in pregnancy.

A full panel maternity jean offers the most support and stay up the best. The full panel jean has a stretchy fabric panel that extends up and over the entire belly. These jeans are ideal for later in pregnancy when the belly is larger.

If you like the idea of a full panel jean later in pregnancy but want a low rise jean early in pregnancy, then a roll panel jean would be ideal. A roll panel jean offers a fabric panel that can be rolled down to make it a low rise jean. Later in pregnancy, the panel can be unrolled to make them similar to a full panel jean.

When choosing a maternity jean, you want to pick the style that works best for your body shape as well as the shape of your belly. The style of jean that works best for you early in pregnancy may not work for you late in your pregnancy.
